Unfortunately these shoes are too wide in the heel for me. The sizing also seems larger than the last pair I bought. I would have to wear winter socks in them all the time. It would be nice to buy women's shoes that fit a narrower heel and midfoot, but still give ample room for toe splay.
Only 6 months of use and the toe area is ripping.
They fit like the shoe portion of a muck workboot. I don't like that I have to hold the loop to get my foot in, but generally they are okay. They are loose like my work boots once I get my foot in it. I did wear and temporarliy lost both of them in the mud when tracking up a hill to get out of a small drainage creek. They did clean up well after that, but one of the insoles didn't seem to fair well and is wearing after that adventure. Because they loose like boots I do need to wear sock that don't slide down to avoid getting rub blisters on my heel. I have the same issue with the actual boots and I think it's because of a previous injuries since it's only happens that foot and only when I have a low cut socks on and they slip down. I normally wear 8.5 in NB and ordered an 8 and have plenty of room in them.
Comfortable for all day wear. Sizes are a bit snug but feet are dry and don't sweat like in other rubber boots.
Handy to slip on and go for a dog hike or work on the garden.
Feet stay dry!
