I am a farmer and also a ground handler at an airport. We have to walk through metal detectors for security, these are composite so don't set off the metal detectors but still pass our safety policies.
These are the second pair of these type of Mucks and possibly my 30th pair of Mucks brand footwear. The added feature of the Met Gaurd has saved my feet countless times. The most recent was splitting wood and finding a 16" chunk of log on my foot didn't even notice it there until I tried to move my foot. Same qualities and features expected from Mucks, if only they’d reenforce around the toe knuckles always a point of failure.
These are terrible for getting dates with the b1tches, however fantastically protective and so far so dry. I was worried that size 8 might be too small for my wide toes, but I am happily comfortable in them.
I lobster fish and before I got these I went through about 4 different pairs of different boots that couldn't handle the work load, they would get holes or the rubber would rip. With these Muck Boots I've had 100 pound anchors hit them and just leave a rusty mark, they protect both the top of the foot and toes so I don't have to worry about them getting crushed or broken if something doesn't hit just the top of the boot. Once you break them in They're perfect and I'm glad I finally found a boot like this, thank you for producing them.
Heavy duty boot, but the way the composite goes up the ankle puts pressure on those who have higher arches and causes blisters. Lower arches might be fine.

All Muck® Boots are constructed with high-grade materials and natural rubber. As a natural material, it is important your rubber boots are maintained and stored appropriately to help prolong their life.
For leather uppers use a suitable leather care product. Once dry, any woven/fabric upper panels can be gently brushed with a soft brush to remove any remaining mud.
