Disappointing boot, purchased winter 2025, wore for few months, Feb & March, began wearing again Dec 2025 & Jan 2026 & boots leak leaving feet wet & cold, sole appears to be separating on edges of boot & cracking at rubber neoprene interface, expected better for higher priced boot
I purchased these Muck work boots in February 2025 for about $270, expecting high-quality, reliable waterproof performance for tough jobs. They felt comfortable and held up fine during initial wear from February to May. However, after being laid off and not using them over the summer, I started wearing them again in November—and within a short time, they began leaking badly. Now, in cold weather, my feet get soaked and freezing, which defeats the whole purpose of premium work boots.
For the price, I expected much better longevity and waterproofing, especially since these weren’t worn heavily or daily throughout the year. I’ve been a fan of Muck Boots in the past, but this pair has left me seriously unimpressed and hesitant to buy again. Hoping the company improves quality control, as $270 should buy boots that last more than a few months of actual use.
I’m wearing day one keep me warm cold outside , if I can take off easily these boots , I’m very satisfied .
I use these boots as my main set of boots come fall and continue to wear them until summer .
These are great boots this is my second pair very comfortable and very warm. They also have great grip on ice and the tread pattern clears snow well
