Got these boots a couple of weeks ago for general gardening and work around the yard. I went with the high ankle boot cut style and it fits true to size. After wearing them now a few times they are very comfortable. There are only two issues of note. With this style the opening around the ankle is quite large and occasionally debris inadvertently falls in there. The other thing is that the tread is very tight and I find the mud collects in there easier than with my previous pair of garden shoes. I'm having to hose them off to get the mud out of all the crevices. I consider those minor issues in comparison to the overall fit, comfort, and waterproofing. Next time I'd likely go with the low-cut version though, like I had with my previous pair.
Really comfortable and I thought at last that I'd found my perfect boots.
Then the insoles wore through after one week. I replaced them with memory foam ones and they were even more comfortable. Unfortunately, after only 4 months, one boot is starting to split across the top of the boot behind the toes.
I'm hugely disappointed as they are starting to let in water so won't be much use other than on dry days until the split makes them unwearable.
Such an expensive boot should last much longer than 4 months. It may be a rogue one but I'm nervous of replacing them in case it happens again.
The only work boots my husband will wear. He loves them
So far so good
I bought them to slip on in the morning when the grass is wet from dew. Excellect boot, easy to slip foot in and out.
