Lightweight compared to other steel toe boots I have worn in the past
The quick on-and-off of the stretchable upper is convenient if you're willing to have a less secure fit and the wide top of the boot act like a funnel. But the real drawback is the sole. This is by far the most slippery boot I have ever worn. I have to watch my footing and slow down to the point that it gets in the way of focusing on my job. I would only use these on clean and dry grippy surfaces. I'll probably toss them once my boot allowance is topped back up to buy something different for my needs.
Love these boots they very comfortable, but they are lacking any type of ankle support because the tongue doesn't allow the boot to tightened. I will wear them til they're unusable, but I probably won't buy another pair for that reason
Perfect for working grounds. In and out of garbage rooms and changing bins. Toe cap is much needed since brakes need to be released on and off. Super easy to clean because off the rubber boot material. So far so good!!
So when I first got my boots and wore them to work I really fell in love with them! Lightest boot I had ever wore. And the most comfortable by far. Now I work in northern Missouri and I'm a Union Mason Tender we spend most of the winter either walking around in nothing but mud or on frozen mud. After about a month of working in mud the suction from walking around in extrem muddy conditions caused the front section of the sole pulled apart. They must of already knew it was a weak point because that section of the sole has 4 nails in it to try and prevent that. But it still gave away. Luckily a far amount of industrial strength 6000 glue fixed it. But then a couple of months later the metal eye hole that the laces go through popped out. It's been almost 4 months now from date of purchase and I'm still wearing them and true to Muck standards they are the wormest, dryest boot on the market and lightest. But there attempt at the actual work boat still needs just a few tweeks before the will be durable enough to be a reliable pair of everyday all conditions work boot. I truly hope these minor issues get addressed because if and when they do I will never buy anything but them....
