Size 8Men was about a half size large,but they are wearable. Rather have cable type instead of flat laces.

Sturdy, tough boot, and warm enough to wear through colder weather. Fairly comfortable, but I typically wear them loose. Fully laced tight, they may be a bit stiff and restrictive.
The good news first: the boots keep my feet dry
The not-so-good news: the boots seem so rigid, it feels like the left boot presses into the top of my foot below the ankle. I'm not exaggerating when I say for the first few days of trying to break the boots in, I was limping after the walk. I have now loosen the boot laces as much as possible so there is no pressure on the
top of my foot. It seems to help but now there is very little support and my left foot is freely moving around inside the boot. My right foot is okay. It could just be a defect in the left boot but I'm reluctant to recommend these boots to anyone.
Previous had a similar pair of Muck ankle boots that eventually split open in the back and leaked where the boot creased across the toes. Started wearing this in a Men's 8 as I'm a women's 9; they are roomy to the point I can wear a thick pair and a thin pair of socks at the same time. The laces need to be relaced so you can actually tighten the boot through arch and ankle otherwise walking would be sloppy. Why are the laces double the length that is needed? Very annoying/almost dangerous with the giant loops flopping. I don't understand how others say they are pull on and pull off - unless you leave top 3 eyelets very loose/open. If you want this to fit like a boot and walk in it, you need to tighten the arch and ankle, so there is no way these are pull on and off; plus, you are pulling on thin neoprene, there is no pull loop. I sadly noted the back center seam is not even stitched but glued down on the inside with the plastic wrapped around on the back on the outside. This is an area that will require care to make the boot last. Only time will tell; got them on sale 2/3 orig. price otherwise I'd be worried. Hope I can get my money's worth. The sole is thick enough to keep feet warm and not feel rocks, which is what is making them a heavy boot; how people can say they are lightweight is very odd - compared to a cinderblock?! Another 'issue' is I ordered from Muck Boot Company, the charges and shipper came through as Rocky Boots - it seems Muck was bought out. I need these boots to survive walking the dogs through the fields, let's hope for the best.
