The boot appears to be well-made. It has good ankle support even though it has flexible side panels. They seem quite comfortable and the grip is aggressive like a hiking shoe. I wear size 10.5 US in most footwear. This size 11 fits my foot perfectly. I’m only given it three stars because I ordered a black pair and received a brown. Also, it took two weeks to receive the boots. I’ll have to buy the black lace model instead since the black zip is sold out.
Great boots! Light, waterproof and just the right insulation for me. This my second pair of mucks, the other is a pair of wetland. Unbeatable price/quality ratio.
Unfortunately the fit on these is absolutely terrible. Advertised as an active, hike/hunt/work boot, fits worse than a traditional gum boot. The ankle area is absolutely massive and the cuff is way too wide. I could slide it off without undoing, and fit my entire hand down the side of my foot.
Love them but a bit expensive
Bought these boots for portage trips in southern Ontario. Loading the canoe and portaging requires stepping in swamp ooze, beaches, and rock hopping in the water. These are perfect for my needs because they are waterproof, and still comfortable during long portages. I’ve already found myself wearing them for other mucky tasks around the house.

For leather uppers use a suitable leather care product. Once dry, any woven/fabric upper panels can be gently brushed with a soft brush to remove any remaining mud.
